Something New at Starlite Ballroom

We are now offering Memberships to our Starlite Ballroom Club. With the purchase of a membership club card to Starlite Ballroom, you will receive a free 3-month schedule for upcoming special events and dance dates. This will also entitle you to free birthday and anniversary passes for ballroom and rock nights. The second Saturday of every month a drawing for a free gift, from our Starlite Ballroom club membership, will take place. This will also entitle you to our annual Starlite Ballroom free dance festival which will be a private party for Starlite Ballroom club members only, and will include free admission to one of your favorite big bands, and free hors d’oeuvres. It is not mandatory to be a Starlite Ballroom Club member to get into Starlite, just a tremendous benefit you will receive if you are regular Ballroom dancers.
If we do not receive payment for our new Starlite Ballroom membership card, you name will be removed from our present birthday and anniversary lists.
Price per couple - $5.00, Price per single - $2.50
Starlite Ballroom Club buttons, jackets, and shirts will be available for purchase later.

Phil Bates will reopen his remodeled Starlite Ballroom west of Wahoo, Neb., that day. After a fire gutted the room in February, polka buffs had to find other places to stomp to live music.

Polka: This one is for the energetic. A “Polkerama” will start at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Starlite Ballroom in Wahoo, Neb. Those whose feet can stand the pace will be able to polka for 12 hours. Food will be available to replace the calories lost on the dance floor. The cost: $4 for adults; $2.50, under 12.
